So thanks to Blake we have gone to the gym the last two days. The benefit of a lot of ice is well, no school for me, and NOBODY is at the gym!! However, the small few that are there, are hard core. I can't look next to me on the treadmill and feel good about my speed and/or distance. Today, I finish 3.3 miles in about 27 minutes...I was personally very happy with this. Until, I looked at the girl next to me. 7 miles! Really! 7 miles in 58 minutes. Really?!?!

My wish for future visits to the gym:
1. That the ice storm has gotten the New Year's resolutioners off of their one month routine, and that treadmills are more accessible.
2. That I can be fully content with what I personally did, and not judge my workouts by what people are doing next to me.
3. That if I can't be fully content with myself and I do judge my workouts by the person next to me, it forces me to push forward and rev up my workout in a positive way!
