Hey guys! Welcome to our blog! Here is a little bit about me. I grew up in a great city just north of Indianapolis where I met 5 other girls who were like sisters to me! We have played soccer together since we were 8, went our separate ways in college to pursue our love of soccer, but the summers and winter breaks always brought us back together. Now, I am a teacher, married to a great man, own a dog, and living the American dream. Running a marathon has been one of those "bucket list" type things. Something I'm not quite sure I can do, but with the help of my best friends I know anything can be done!
Why the "bubble player"?: Well, there were guidelines that stated only 6 girls from the same high school could play on the same club team. We had 8 that wanted to go to the same high school. Therefore, I, along with 2 other girls, was told that I was on the "bubble". For me, it wasn't the fact that I wasn't as good as the others. I was just determined to make the squad so that I could continue my passion for soccer, but most of all, be with my friends on a daily basis. I couldn't stand the thought of them going on a tournament trip without me! Therefore, in my head, I took the "bubble" comment to heart and used it to make myself better.
