Just curious if anyone made any resolutions this year. As all of you know, I have a sweet tooth that would make any dentist shutter, and in an attempt to make myself an overall healthier person in 2011, I have decided to only enjoy sweets on the days that start with the letter 'S.' To clarify, that would be Saturday and Sunday. And I won't be allowing myself to go crazy on those days as that would defeat the purpose. Just a nice little reward at the end of the week. Hopefully this will start to make a difference in my running, and maybe at some point I will stop craving them altogether. (Doubtful, but it's a nice thought.)

Al - I'm proud of you! I hope you were able to endulge this weekend. My resolution this year is to be more consistent with my workouts. I tend to go in phases where I work out for like 3 months fairly diligently, and then I fade away for 6 months. I'm hoping that the marathon will keep me motivated for a longer span of time.
ReplyDeleteWay to go, Ali B and MB! Great resolutions! I am focusing on building my relationship with God this year. I am praying in the car on my way to work and reading my Bible before bed. Also, I would like to eat more fruits and vegetables this year!
